A great place for the gay traveler to stay. .prices are excellent. Comfortable rooms..lock boxes...

No and no bed..matress was reasonably ok..other stays better they are in the midst of renovations. .updating. still have some matresses need to replace.

This is for the gay traveler. .not a safe area for families. ..lots of homeless. .and after dark especially dangerous. .for the inexperienced traveler..here in Sao Paulo everyone must be vigilant.this is not a hotel nor area for the femaletraveler. .This hotel is popular with the gay traveler because there are 4 gay bars directly across the street from the hotel. .

A great place for the gay traveler to stay. .prices are excellent. Comfortable rooms..lock boxes...

Croissants? Lol bed comfortable.

The area is very dangerous at night. .need to be extra careful. .taxi or Uber to and from dedtinstion every time. I live in Brazil most of the year. .one has to be very careful. No original documents should be carried on the street..don't carry a lot of cash..one credit card only on the street . use your cell phone inside a restaurant or building. Not on the street..daytime is a bit safer. .this area is full of strung out and drugged up homeless ..sleeping on thr street and beggging for $$ .in the general area and next to hotel. .But for the gay traveler. .there are 5 busy bars directly across from the hotel..and the place to meet new and old friends. .and a 30 second walk across the street back to the hotel..There is a Carrefour Express supermarket 2 doors from the hotel . prices excellent. They have everything. All rooms have balconies. Wi-Fi is very weak..

Great value and a great breakfast.

Great location and the breakfast was a surprise he good it was for the budget price.

The area around was a bit dirty and quite a few homeless people in the park opposite.

Nothing fancy but great value place, clean, nice staff and decent breakfast. And amazing location.

Pretty old fashioned decor etc but exactly everybody expect in downtown São Paulo. The location is perfect - right next to the Metro. My room was tiny but I knew that when I booked! Friendly staff. Great value for money. Good coffee at breakfast. I’ll probably stay there often.

- sufficient breakfast, big bed, all in all relatively...

- sufficient breakfast, big bed, all in all relatively spacious, very central, not too dangerous area, very close to the metro and airport bus

- in the room was so much dust, that i had to cough all the time (after a night i took a towel to wipe around the bed - ending up with a lot of black streaks on it because of the dust), some lamps were not working, tea drinkers: with the hot water you also receive dark fluffs and platelets in your cup - i tried it several days -always the same result - you can see that 100 years ago that might have been a decent hotel - but times are long gone - tables in breakfast room are extremely unfortunate designed, so you cannot use all chairs - and the chairs have really ugly stains - open wires around the electrically heated shower - windows don't block any noise - it was a bit chilly - got a cold because no heating devices available - and the extra blankets were covered in dust - increasing my coughing

The staff of the hotel and its central location again made this SP visit completely enjoyable for me

An old favorite in many other trips, the hotel today still meets my needs very, very well. The staff is very helpful in many ways. Resolving a lost credit card problem, Ione and Rosa at the front desk helped enormously. Everything for me was great...again!!

„Doppelzimmer JA Einzelzimmen NEIN !!!

Das Doppelzimmer hatte einen Flur, ein geräumiges Badezimmer und einen großen Hauptraum. Deutlich größer als erwartet. Im ersten Zimmer war die Dusche nicht warm, ich bekam sofort ein neues Zimmer wo alles ok war. Die Sauberkeit war guter Durchschnitt. Das Frühstück Basic aber voll ausreichend. Ein Tolles Hotel was seine besten Zeiten leider hinter sich hat. Stellenweise Renovierungsbedürftig. Die Lage direkt am Parca Republica ist super aber nicht erschrecken...cruisende Gays, bezahlbare Mädchen und Obdachlose bevölkern den Park. Nach meiner Einschätzung nicht gefährlicher als an anderen Orten. Ich habe auch gegen 23 Uhr Nachts keine negativen Erfahrungen gemacht.

Ich hatte kurzfristig um eine Nacht verlängert, das Einzelzimmer welches ich nach meinem Doppelzimmer bekam war eigentlich im gesamten in einem Zustand den man als NICHT vermietbar bezeichnen muss. Schimmel, dreckige Wände... da es "nur" eine Nacht war hatte ich nichts gesagt. Ein Tolles Hotel was seine besten Zeiten leider hinter sich hat. Stellenweise Renovierungsbedürftig.

„Gut erreichbar, aber renovierungsbedürftig

Als ich eincheckte, war der Dame an der Rezeption gleich klar, dass man mich nicht drei Nächte in dem gebuchten kleinen Loch (Economy Basic) übernachten lassen konnte. Das käme einem Zellenaufenthalt gleich. Sie bot mir ein geräumigeres Zimmer an, das allerding auch schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen und abgewohnt ist, in dem es sich aber mit Klimaanlage und Kühlschrank aushalten ließ. Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Metro Station Republika und ist vom zentralen Busbahnhof (dort ausgezeichnete Touristen Info) und dem Flughafen GRU schnell erreichbar. Eine Touristen Info befindet sich gegnüber einem Metro Eingang. Die Mitarbeiterinnen sind sehr freundlich.

Man muss wissen, dass im Zentrum von Sao Paulo und damit auch im Bereich des Hotels viele Obdachlose und Alkoholiker in Hauseingängen, in Parks oder auf offener Straße übernachten. Sie bettelten zwar, verhielten sich aber nicht aggressiv. Keine Gegend nachts allein unterwegs zu sein. Es sind aber bis spät in die Nacht viele Menschen noch unterwegs. Von diesem Problem sind jedoch alle Hotels betroffen.

Todo muy bien. Buen desayuno. Buena cama. El personal muy amable. Lamentablemente me asaltaron en la calle y el personal me ayudo mucho.

El calor del personal suplió largamente las carencias del hotel

El personal encantador y eficiente en líneas generales. La ubicación es excelente aunque la calle es muy ruidosa. Cerca a restaurantes, cafeterías y servicios a precios módicos y hasta baratos. Recomiendo a la Sra. Rosa, José y Danilo. Muy amables y hospitalarios.

La ropa de cama y las toallas. Demasiado ruido y barullo en frente del hotel. No tienen lámparas en las mesas de noche. El comedor es muy pequeño y siempre está repleto. Pero creo que el precio justifica algunas carencias que finalmente no son insalvables

Buena ubicación a una cuadra de la estación de metro, al lado hay un supermercado y puntos de comida variada.

Ubicacion muy centrica y en la misma cuadra del bus...

Ubicacion muy centrica y en la misma cuadra del bus aeropuerto guarulhos. Edificio muy antiguo pero remodelado. Limpio. Bue servicio de habitación. Personal de recepción muy amable, son rápidos expeditivos, responden a las consultas de inmediato. Ideal para los que van a hacer tramites. Te guian muy bien. Cerca del Metro de omnibus. Hay parada de taxis en la puerta del hotel. Para entrar y salir de dia hacer tramites comer economico etc.

No se puede andar de noche. Hacer todo de dia hasta las 6 a 8 de la tarde. Mas tarde es muy peligrosa la zona. Volver en taxi o Metro Republica u omnibus cerca porque de noche no se puede andar de a pie. El desayunador es pequeño pero se relaciona con lo economico que es el precio. Es para tomar una cafe y comer algo rapido y salir hacer tus tramites.
